Let\u2019s talk Lake and Maintenance. Our lake is really a retention pond, and trying to keep it clean is an ongoing challenge. There was a committee that did the lake evaluation in 2017\/2018 and the bubbler system was the best course of action for the pond. It was not just an overnight decision.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Maintenance staff try to keep the bubblers running as best they can and keep parts on the shelves for repairs. The company that supplies the parts is constantly making updates to the motors so sometimes it\u2019s not a good idea to have one sitting on the shelf for months and then new models that have upgrades and last longer become available.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Must remember the seasons we go through and lake concerns, whenever it\u2019s 32\u00b0 outside, we\u2019re not going to have people go out and work on the bubblers. As soon as we had our first day of warm weather, they went out to figure out what parts they needed at the bubblers themselves. They knew they had a motor out and were already working on that order.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Now they\u2019re working on the last of the freeze cleanup and working on the last of yard sale and whenever that\u2019s over, hopefully we can get them out on the boat to fix the system. Our maintenance staff work part time and along with their daily task of cleaning, pool chemical checks and cleaning, etc\u2026 we task them with stuff like the yard sale setup\/closing, Christmas lights\/decorations install\/removal. Setting up clubhouse for meetings, morning coffee, bingo, game days, monthly breakfast, the birthday party, valentines party. Opening and coming back late at night to close the clubhouse. On call day and night for all issues including gate operations etc\u2026. just to name a few<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
